Upcycled Bench, bench made from the tables of Ikea

The American designer Charles Crawford, is not satisfied with the solutions on the market, has created for itself a bench to furnish their tiny terrace. Instead of choosing as the starting material of the simple wooden planks, he thought of reusing elements already processed. And what if pieces of Ikea furniture?

Upcycled Bench was in fact made of sections of tables Lack, bought second hand through the popular classifieds site Craigslist. Table tops, of varying colors, split in half in height, were ringed on the steel bars along the screw holes for the legs. These in turn are used to create the back, while all the cuts were sealed with foam insulation for greater resistance outdoors.
