The tubes become trees in a shop in Tokyo

The border between nature and artifice becomes more subtle: who is to imitate what is now difficult to establish. In a shop in Tokyo, the study Suppose Design Office has set up a real installation as dramatic counterpoint to the goods on display, following the thread of the combination of nature-artifice.

The pipes, usually well hidden, here becomes not only visible, but also are the leading decorative element, running in all directions, covering the walls, ceiling, corners, while not taking away anything from the products on display, because their immaculate white can bring out all the other colors.

And they are trees, trees grown almost wild, one inside the other, as if it was just the nature artifice calling the shots, not the other way. Excellent play of the stage, and the meaning and significance.
