The Boscolo Hotel Exedra of Milan, whose project was designed by Italo Rota, Alessandro Pedretti, Thijs Pulles Diego Terna, and Simone Micheli for 600 sq.m. of Spa, was defined by the Director General an “urban hotel”, a where, contrary to what one would expect, was given greater importance to the common areas, such as spa, lobby, restaurants, rather than private ones, like the rooms.
Italo Rota, however, does not define a design hotel, but a place where the design has been kept out purposely to make way for designers and creative people as guests, so that they can submit their work without interference, then the architectural elements are simple : red, black, marble, ready to accept other elements unambiguously supports Rota.
There are still some spectacular and unusual scenic views of the hotel, resulting in an overall concentration of creativity.
