A loft on the Seine

Tagged with:

Located in an old barge stationed on the Seine, this bright loft is furnished with a modern style mixed with vintage and designer pieces.

The kitchen, built in a style distinctly “industrial” uses a lot of steel and metal combined with wood almost raw. Lamps and furniture are signed Evasion55.

In the sunny living room, separate from the kitchen only by a low wall, we find a sofa custom made by D’Argentat, adorned with pillows Rouge du Rhin. The great reading lamp, extending over large sofa and Artemis. The white and black sitting in La Haut sur la Colline puts in contrast with the contemporary style of retro chairs and sideboard.

Upstairs, where are the bedrooms, bathrooms and closets, are made against a retro industrial style and taste, already found in the living room, with doors and shelves made of metal, coupled with pastel colors and armchairs and chandeliers antiques.

Volume B, the interiors of Vitra in São Paulo

The showroom of the brand Vitra in São Paulo plays with the aesthetics of building materials in a somewhat extreme: while the use of concrete ramps on the facade and interior space, covering not only the floor but the walls, wall enclosure of the courtyard is made of a mesh deliberately eaten by rust.

The impact is certainly dramatic, accomplice the height of the pavilion, taste a bit industrial location and lighting that can enhance the space and the products on display. Including the classics could not fail Vitra Panton Chair until the Coconut Chair Nelson. The project was curated by architect Marcio Kogan.
