The district Elmegade is one of the most populated areas of Inner Nørrebro in Copenhagen. The particular intersection of birkegade/Egegade/Elmegade in this area of the city creates a very dense triangular block of buildings close to each space green areas for recreation with children. The Belgian study of architecture, JDS architects, was commissioned to design three penthouse in Copenhagen to be entered at the top of an existing building.

They decided to use the roof of the structure to create the “missing garden” to give to the owners of the apartments. They used the roof creating not only a concept of installing roof garden but on a real playground for children playing with the shapes of the roof.
