The House Paraty best private residence
That’s something the experts are waiting anxiously. We are talking about the charts that the British design and lifestyle magazine Wallpaper has just published about the best projects in 2010. Sure, you know, every list has something of questionable, but regardless remains a benchmark, especially if the opinion was issued by an authoritative jury, composed, as in this case by leading members of the architecture and culture (by Steven Holl to Pedro Almodovar at Carsten Holler).
This residence, awarded the best private residence of the year, named after the city where it was built in Brazil, Paraty, and was designed by Marcio Kogan Architects study. The property, on two levels, playing with the impact of large windows, fully modernist. A choice which seems apt, judging by the tropical beauty of the bay on which the residence faces. Fantastic swimming pool with palm trees and ocean views.
