Wyssem and Cécile Nochi, design of aesthetics, science and politics

Wyssem and Cécile Nochi are two designers who design objects and for living in the difficult context of their home town that is Beirut.
To meet this challenge, and Cécile Nochi Wyssem catalyze political events through an artistic creation ironic and often provocative in order to devote to the design, drawing inspiration from everyday life and everyday gestures, but also by objects that surround them and stimuli by science and nature.

The couple creates furnishings of various kinds: from containers shaped sculptural lamps handcrafted, creating collections with names like “c/wn_Light_LUFFA”, “Product Deluxe” and “Product Foam_Made in Lebanon”.

The collection “Product Deluxe” also includes items from the poetic symbols, for example, “C/W” are two wicker chairs and steel silhouette from complementary and give the idea that the two sessions are busy in a quiet dialogue.
The bedside rocking “sway Dream” instead represent the world of dreams: the version with drawers for storing the day’s events open to the other and then sleep in an open mind.
