UnIkea, the designer himself Kenyon Yeh comeback Ikea furniture
Okay that Ikea encourages its customers to a certain degree of creativity, to revisit their modular furniture with a personal touch, but the young designer Kenyon Yeh, we really pushed further, with a nice challenge. Born in Taiwan and moved to London hours Kenyon Yeh got some visibility through the project after graduation UnIkea or, Unique Ikea.
When replacing the modular Ikea shelves (those pine that now find themselves in a house on two) at will, has created new furniture, full of humor, albeit of dubious functionality. The only original parts are the legs, with the typical form of media a classic chair, molded plastic and stained with fluorescent dyes. The pieces, unique, are assembled to order.
