Chairs signed at school or rather, chairs the ad hoc designed to offer beauty and ergonomics with high symbolic value. All this happens in Saint Etienne, home of the Biennial of Design, where young French graduates Mangeol François and Sophie Francon have designed the furniture for the new Institute of Art and Design ESADSE city.

The line, which includes a chair, a bench, a tripod, a top the table with drawers and cabinets, is designed in a modular fashion to allow students to organize their work space in a personalized way. This mainly due to the multifunctionality of some parts: the stand, for example, can also be used on the height to give life to a drawing table top, combined to turn to another stand which this time acts as a stool. The collection, winning the 2009 edition of the EIA, is distributed by Souvignet Design.
