Schiffini, an island with drawers for the new kitchen cabinets

Deconstructionist island, yet functional. Thus, the German designer Gitta Gschwendtner describes his latest project for the Italian brand of kitchens Schiffini submitted to Milan in the exhibition organized by Wallpaper.
The structure, in fact, appears only as a set of seemingly uncoordinated boxes which conceal nothing if not open drawers when necessary (even together, potentially). Stated aim: to give a sculptural form to the growing demand for space to store food and kitchen cabinets items. A single measure, attention to the edges when you are passing.
