Busetti-Garuti is a young but very dynamic studio founded by Manuela Busetti and Andrea Garuti.
The eclectic duo has recently participated in the exhibition Prime Cup 2001 held at the Triennale Design Museum in Milan and on this occasion has presented a number of interesting projects including Table Leaf and Grow.
The latter, designed to Emmemobili, is characterized by sinuous lines and symmetrical but at the same time full of spatial complexity.
The legs are shaped like a tree, with its branches are open to support the plan. In addition, each leg consists of four strips of wood, plywood, starting from a compact rectangular shape (as an element of solid wood) and then divide opening up to form their own branches.
Each branch, takes a different design direction and curvature of real trees.
While the chair outdoor Leaf (project developed for the company Sanpietro) consists of a carpet of leaves of iron covering the entire session: every single decorative element is printed before being placed with a random order, on the soul rod that makes up the seat, creating a body and enveloping curve, until you get to play the entire session.
Each leaf is welded to each other, creating a support structure.
