A cottage and modern minimalist

Even the more traditional types of housing such as cottages, can be revisited in a modern way, by maintaining some reference to the past and tradition, but pointing to the contemporary: this house is recognized as a cottage, but at the same time is an example of interior modern and minimalist design.

Designed by Henning Larsen Architects, the house is completely open and facing the sea, with large bright windows to ceiling, and at the close of all in the south side, which borders with its neighbors.

The abundant use of light wood is the element that makes us the form together with the still identify this house as a cottage, but the interior decoration and fitting out the eye to wink very minimalist and contemporary.

They can not therefore fail in this context design pieces such as table and chairs by Eero Saarinen Tulip or Lounge Chair by Charles Eames.
