After the long wait for In the land of wild creatures, Spike Jonze’s film based on the book by Maurice Sendak, it’s time for a new film ready to create hype and confusion among all those interested in illustration.
‘Guilt’ by Wes Anderson, the talented director already well known for the previous “The Royal Tenenbaums,” “The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou” and The Darjeeling Limited, which fits in every movie a lot of details and perfect to suggest reinterpretations. And Fantastic Mr. Fox arriving in fact, stop-motion animated feature, adapted from “Fantastic Mr. Fox” by Roald Dahl, who is already unleashing the creativity of artists.
As was the case with beautifully Jonze’s film, there are hordes of illustrators who experimented in adapting their style to the world imagined by Anderson. To inspire, there is-also-work Chris Appelhans, already a character designer for Coraline, who decided to make available on his blog some of the pre-made tables for the film.
