Architecture Biennale in Venice: Recycling toys furniture by Greg Lynn

Architect Greg Lynn won the Prize for Architecture Biennale in Venice with the best installation according to the jury. Lynn received the award for a series of furniture made from recycled children’s toys. What then would be stressed once again that recycling plays in design and architecture play an increasingly important role. The jury of the 11th International Architecture Exhibition have included Paola Antonelli (MoMA New York) and Max Hollein (Städel Art Institute / Schirn Kunsthalle Frankfurt).

Greg Lynn (1964), studied architecture and philosophy and is regarded as the main representative of the marked by its biomorphic forms “blob architecture”.
