
The first important characteristic of this apartment in Chelsea is his railing for the stairs made of Lego bricks. This modern apartment in Manhattan was made with the creative spirit of the study of Interior Design I-Beam Architecture and Design, together with the owners of the apartment: Melissa Marks and Vicente Caride.
A series of sliding walls each weighing over 226 kg, useful to toggle the partition walls which divide the two different types of space, one dedicated office and that of living in one place, alternating between the walls can divide the relevant areas during the day (studio, office and living room).
The line connecting of wood is essentially walnut which is an element found throughout the apartment and in different places, all along the shelves, the jambs of the window sills, desks and work surfaces, joined the white wood, thus providing greater elegance to every piece of furniture and interior furnishings. The Carrara marble was introduced on the kitchen table, the drawings on the wall of the room the boys were furniture made by Melissa, while 20.000 stair lego brick were designed and introduced by the design architect in New York and two artists who are licensed in the construction of LEGO – Sean Kenney.
