Contemporary Design Navy Chair Emeco chooses plastic Coca-Cola
New features for the historic Navy Chair, the chair of the U.S. Navy became a design icon of the second century. Emeco’s historic manufacturing company, has announced that the new Ice Cube will waive Emeco aluminum, privileged material around the catalog company to divert the use of plastic instead.
But the novelty in itself interesting, that’s not all: Coca-Cola is, in fact, provide the raw material for Emeco offering its bottles to recycle, 111 for each chair in production. Distributed on the market from next June, the new Navy Chair will be presented in Milan Zona Tortona in the days of the exhibition.
Particular, through surgery and co-marketing and the choice of images in the advertising campaign will be photographed sitting in a block of ice created by sculptor Duncan Hamilton, specializing in the processing of this material.
